The Superslender I apartment is an attempt to learn from Yemeni traditional multi-story houses and derive a generic plan integrated with materials and structure. A reinforced concrete tube structure is assumed, with internal walls placed to function as stiffening elements.

A fire-protected stairwell with smoke lobby is provided. The number and placement of windows is arbitrary, subject to structural considerations.
