This is the New Shibham proposal adapted to be DDA compliant by adding an elevator and ensuring minimal turning radii for wheelchair users. The challenge was to do this without compromising or overly complicating the mud brick structure.

 

The order of the slideshow is the chronological order of development, beginning with the BASE proposal. The sequence shows how different configurations were explored and subsequently developed, using the ratio of percentage of liveable area to gross area as a metric for evaluation, although a high efficiency is a construction efficiency that does not necessarily represent a high proportion of useable area.
